rescued baby hummingbird is raised by a human

rescued baby hummingbird is raised by a human

While watching this sweet story unfold, you'll be listening to a sweet song, too.  This reminds me of the time my cat caught an adult hummingbird in his mouth and the bird escaped injury because my dear Max never sunk his teeth in.  But Max did not give up the bird easily.  I so wish I had gotten a picture of it in his mouth.  It was quite an image.  Eventually he released the hummingbird, which was dazed and confused, and at first we thought it was actually dead, but following instructions from a bird rescue center we got the bird into a shoe box and took it to the center.  Now I'm thinking maybe we should have kept it?

review of ThinOptics reading glasses

ThinReaders reading glasses
When I was approached to try out and review the ThinOptics reading glasses, I immediately said yes because of the design.  They have no ear stems, and take up virtually no storage space.  After testing them for a few months, I am happy to recommend them.  One style attaches to the back of your smart phone, and one is designed to store wherever you like.  I chose the type that doesn’t attach to my phone because I like the way my phone looks and didn’t want to mess it up.  Turns out, I keep my ThinOptics reading glasses in my purse in my iPhone case (a little coin purse made from antique Thai embroidery that I bought as a souvenir at Thailand's Chatuchak Weekend Market) and find that most convenient.  I use them regularly in restaurants and when I look at mail on my iPhone, and I just tried them out on a trip to Kauai.  I have gotten used to fitting them on to my nose and only have problems with them falling off when my nose gets twitchy.  Their convenience outweighs any inconvenience from that issue.  I have decided not to wear them in situations where they would be easy to drop and lose, such as on airplanes and subways most specifically.  For those occasions, I still take along my regular readers or squint.  If you are in the market for new reading glasses, give these a try.  The design and guarantee are excellent, and the price is right.  I also think they would make a great gift.
