Take a quick break from your routine with these fun, often funny, and almost always short-and-sweet items found by me on the internet. You'll see lots of CATS, lots of VIDEOS, lots of FUNNY ITEMS, and have lots of FUN. Richard Sneed, owner of Norwalk Records in Norwalk, California, commented about one cat video, "I got charlie horses in my ribs laughing at this. Thank You Carole." BTW, have you visited my new BERKELEY AND BEYOND website at www.berkeleyandbeyond.com?

let's not forget Haiti
let's not forget Haiti
The video-makers say, "Someone joked that our video is "We Are the World--Classical Edition". While it is stretching, this beautiful Chopin Nocturne in C# Minor performed by some of the best young pianists from 4 continents is just as suited to be dedicated to the Haiti and Chile earthquake victims. If you like the performance, please help spread the word and consider donation for both Haiti and Chile earthquake victims at http://american.redcross.org/youngartists-pub or your local Red Cross."

the Odd Couple sing "You're So Vain"
the Odd Couple sing "You're So Vain"
I saw these guys--Tony Randall and Jack Klugman--in London in 1996 when "The Odd Couple" played at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Klugman had suffered a bout with throat cancer, I believe, and had a very scratchy voice but was still a trooper. This is a trip down memory lane. Wish they'd bring back this series in reruns. Love the song.

God Bless America
Kate Smith is the person referred to in "It's not over 'til the fat lady sings." This clip is from the movie "You're in the Army Now." When I was a kid, I used to sit in front of the TV regularly and draw the dresses she wore. She was something.
