National Pie Day rolls around every January 23. Are you ready for tomorrow? If not, consider this SuperSimple recipe for my Mom's Apple Pie.

Here is a less simple way to make Mom's apple pie, demonstrated in videos by Joyce Maynard, author of the novel Labor Day, which is coming out soon in movie form. For the film, she taught actors Josh Brolin and Kate Winslet how to make a pie.
