good luck charms
Wouldn't it be nice to collect good luck charms as you roam the world? This article documents 24 good luck charms, of which I have a few from my own trips.
I just a few weeks ago saw a show at San Francisco Airport about Japanese Maneki Neko cats.

On that same trip, I picked up a worry doll at the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita in Mexico.

And I gave my adult daughter a nazar to protect her new house from the evil eye (I bought it in Portland, Oregon, at the famous Powell's Bookstore).
